New week gets going now, and pre-hurricane jitters should subside. Not only hurricane Ike is now history; also, call-writers and futures-shorts may get overly complacent in the face of any next storm. After all, the infra-structure just weathered two major hits with minimum damage. Commitments of Traders (C.O.T.) sport new record Large Spec Net Short of over 170,000; for every 2 Long fund positions there are over 3 Shorts now!
