TradeBondFutures Education
Join Jack at his trading desk on the floor of the CBOT in this unique, highly-personalized education experience. Your trading day will begin at 7am CT as Jack prepares to trade the bond market. You will be at his side as he explains why he is placing his trades in the order book. This affords you the opportunity to learn first-hand the methods he uses to identify optimum trade entry points. As the market opens and trade begins to unfold, you will be privy to Jack's thought process as he "thinks out loud" while moderating the TBF trading room and guides his clients thru the trading day. As more trades are placed in the order book you will be taught why those trades are being taken. As each trade is filled you will follow along as Jack works thru the trade to profit or loss.
As part of the mentoring process, YOUR questions and own trading strengths and weaknesses are the priority during your visit to the trading floor. As every trader is different, Jack has a policy of muting the microphone to the trading room as you ask your questions. The rule is: the client on the floor takes priority.
This is a 3 day mentorship in Chicago, each day is geared to teaching and showing you the techniques Jack uses to trade the bond market. Each day concludes at 2:00 p.m. CT but then you'll move off-floor with Jack for follow-up questions and answers.
If trading conditions allow during your visit, you will meet other traders and have an opportunity to hear some of the thoughts on trading that have helped them to stay in the business for several years.
FAQ: Should I bring my laptop? Can I trade along with Jack?
CME Group rules do not allow visitors to trade. But beyond that: you can ALWAYS trade when you return home. The priority for the visit should be learning the methods that the pros use and getting YOUR questions answered.
Can I accomplish that in 1 day? Or do I need 3?
Jack answers this way: "I have noticed that almost every client that has taken part in this mentoring makes a comment midday of the second day along the lines of: "Yesterday was almost a blur…I was so caught up in the whole experience of the floor that it was almost overwhelming. But this morning everything began to sink in." Jack feels 2 days minimum for best results.
What do I need to bring? Is there a dress code?
Don't bring anything. Watching Jack trade - the patience and discipline he exhibits - is what most clients comment on that helps them the most. Taking notes or sharing your methodology detracts from that. Jack will provide you with pen and paper and the opportunity to document want you need to. The CME Group dress-code for the trading floor is simply "no jeans, t-shirts or sweatshirts." Jack says, "A pair of slacks and a golf shirt or button-down are fine. No jackets required!"
Can I record the session? Is there any follow up?
CME Group rules do not allow recording devices on the trading floor. However, as part of this mentoring program, you will receive 1 month of free access to Jack's nightly newsletter and trading room.
Each mentorship is 3 days
Pricing: 1 on 1 $5,000 per day
